DSCN9726

This is a really, really late post! Meant to post this tutorial up last month but you know, things just got away. One thing after another and this post was drafted and never posted. Missed the Father’s Day deadline but well, this would make a nice gift for Daddy on his birthday too! So, here we go…

These are some of the materials that you will need for making a clay cupcake

If the clay is too sticky and is stuck to your fingers, dab away the clay slowly with another piece of clay. Do not rub or pull at it.

Now let's decorate the tie with some stripes. You can decorate it with dots if you want. But I will use stripes here as example. Roll a long strip of light blue clay(or any other colour that you desire).

Now let’s make a pocket. You can omit this step if you want. Make a small round shape.

Use the knife to make an indent.

Trim off the top so that it is flat and shape it to a pocket shape.

Hope daddy likes his cupcake! :)
